Several weeks ago Adora and I went to do a VBS with a team from Virginia and Maryland in two villages named Nocrich and Ghijasa-de-Jos. In Nocrich we had between 20-30 kids and in Ghijasa we had around 10 (it is a village with about 90 people). If it didn't rain there would have been more kids at Nocrich.
We usually started with games (like musical chairs), then singing. After that we had a skit (we did Ahaz, Hezekiah and Esther - the story was read and during that we acted it out), then did a craft (the kids made a crown the first day, and each day they came they added a jewel on it). We gave them snacks on their way out.
